Typhlops porrectus is a harmless blind snake species found in Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and northern Myanmar. No subspecies are currently recognized.[2]
Geographic range
Found in Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and northern Myanmar. The type locality given is "Hurdwár, ... Calcutta, ... foot of the Parisnáth hill (in Western Bengal), ... base base of the Rangnu valley below Darjíling, ... and south of Agra"[northern and eastern India].[1]
