The Rachna College of Engineering and Technology, commonly known as RCET, is a constituent college of University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore. It is located in Gujranwala, Punjab, Pakistan.

Establishment

Realizing the urgent need for technological and engineering education in the region, Government of the Punjab decided to set up an engineering college in 2002 by pooling together the resources of the government and regional industries. On 15 January 2003, the college was inaugurated by Governor of the Punjab. Previously, the college was affiliated with University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore (UET Lahore). In 2006, the status of RCET was upgraded from an affiliated college to a constituent college of UET Lahore. Its engineering programs are accredited by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).
