The Unitedworld School of Business[1] is an Indian business school with campuses in Ahmedabad, Gujarat and Kolkata, West Bengal. It is one of the leading B'School of India focusing on building young talent by offering best industry practices by highly educated faculties from IIMs, DSE, IITs. It offers programs including 2 Years Full Time Postgraduate Diploma in Management and MBA with specializations in Marketing, Financial Services, Human Resources.

The business school was established in 2009. ″Unitedworld School of Business″ is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).[2] Unitedworld School of Business has undertaken additional efforts in this year's academic curriculum ( learning model) to introduce and expose the students to various skill development programmes which will help them understand and readily adapt to rapid business, technological and social changes. These certicate programmes shall help provide analytical and problem solving skills and keep them abreast with the trends and changes in a highly competitive and globally dynamic economy.

Education Delivery Method

Through focused learning opportunities, our students dwell in the realm of impactful ideas, both inside & outside the class room which helps them understand bigger perspectives. The students also gain new insight into business across sectors, functions, organisation types through business projects and apply them successfully in complex and changing environment. During first year, students are exposed to immersion programmes in rural, entrepreneurship and start-ups followed by Internship. Further, second year is concentrated towards specialised add-on programmes like Lean Six Sigma, Business Analytics, Investment Analysis and Decisions, Learning Interventions & Consultancy leading to a greater focus and stress in the respective areas of Specialisations.

Events

  • The Conference Series was held on 14th Nov,2016. The Conference Series, envisaged as an annual event, aims to provide a platform for comprehensive discussions on some of the prominent issues challenging the corporate world, domestic and global economy and the society at large.
  • Workshop on Media Planning and Buying by Mrs. Pratibha Vinayak on 20th and 21st Oct, 2016
  • Guest Lecture : Seller Thyself by Mr Debdutta Sen on 18th Oct, 2016
  • IRMA Rural Immersion Program from 23rd to 25th Sept, 2016
  • MTV Colours of Youth is a Pan India talent hunt competition hosted by Maruti Suzuki with auditions and Zonal Finals in Kolkata. UWSB participated in several events[when?] and was qualified for the Zonal Finals among 10 qualified teams out of 182 auditions.[citation needed]
  • UWSB celebrated the 154th anniversary of the birth of Rabindranath Tagore in May, 2015.[citation needed]
  • On 14 February 2014, students at UWSB's Kolkata campus organised an event to support children's rights.[citation needed]
