Mackintosh Muggleton (born February 16, 1994) is a notable British actor. His mother is art director Sarah Greenwood.

Career[edit]

Muggleton's feature film debut came at age twelve, playing the role of "Andy" in 28 Weeks Later[1][2][3][4][5][6][7], the sequel to 28 Days Later. He said he had auditioned "for the fun of it" and "was amazed that they picked me out of all the other children"[8]. Together with his slightly older co-star Imogen Poots, who played his sister in the film, Muggleton's acting was described as "great" by Cinefantastique[9], and "talented" by the London Evening Standard[10]. Variety said that they delivered "sterling performances"[11].

Muggleton is also interviewed in 28 Weeks Later: The Infected, a video documentary short giving an overview of the preparation undergone by the actors playing "the infected" in the film.[12] When asked his views on the best way to escape an attack from "the infected", Muggleton commented that, "the infection did come from monkeys, so I think I would stay clear from monkeys."[13]
