[edit]Valeria Kataeva was born on January 3, 2002, in Perm, Russia. From a young age, she showed an interest in nature, biology, figure skating, and equestrian sports. She particularly focused on studying plants and breeding earthworms. In school, she achieved notable academic success, scoring 100 points twice on the Unified State Exam (EGE), which brought her regional recognition. In addition to her academic achievements, she excelled in running competitions and was featured in local media.
Higher education
[edit]In 2020, Kataeva enrolled at Moscow State University (MSU) in the Faculty of Geography, specializing in "Ecology and Environmental Management" (Department of Rational Environmental Management). During her studies, she participated in scientific expeditions, conducted environmental sampling, and researched the ecological impact of the Monchegorsk Metallurgical Plant in Murmansk Oblast. She co-authored scientific papers on monitoring environmental pollution in the region. Her thesis focused on industrial ecologization.
In 2024, driven by an interest in marketing, Kataeva entered the MSU Faculty of Economics to study "Management" (Department of Marketing). She secured her place after achieving success in a university competition.
