Heroes of the Great Patriotic War.

"The twenty-second of June, Four o'clock sharp Kiev was bombed, We were told that the war had begun... "

                             (Nikolai Sologubovsky)

After these lines, Soviet people went massively to the military enlistment offices to sign up as volunteers to defend their Motherland. This war dragged on for a long 4 years… Soviet people during this terrible war made a lot of feats and sacrifices to defeat the enemy, and did not spare their lives. I was very touched by the feat of a simple partisan Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya. Zoya Anatolyevna is the first woman who was awarded the title of hero of the Soviet Union during the Great Patriotic War. In the Great Patriotic War, not only adults took part, but also children who fought on a par with their elders. We were both at the front and in the rear, went on reconnaissance and were not afraid of anything. Most of all, I remember the boy-partisan, pioneer Lenya Golikov. They defended our country not only on the ground, but also in the air. One of these feats is the act of Alexey Maresyev. You can list endlessly the exploits of the Soviet people. After all, everyone heroically defended their Motherland and tried to bring the hour of victory closer. Everyone wanted to see the peaceful sky above their heads as soon as possible. The courage and dedication of Russian fighters will always be in the memory of each of us, thanks to these heroes, we can enjoy a serene life, laugh and rejoice. The Great Patriotic War gave us the joy of victory, pride for our country and heroes-fathers who defended our Motherland. It also gave us thousands of orphans, famine, destruction, deprivation, a huge number of orphanages and street children, numerous cripples and disabled people, many widows. This is the price of our joy, this is the price of our victory. No one is forgotten and nothing is!
