Windows 1.0 version 1.00.08 was a pre-release build of Windows 1.0. A string with this version can be found inside SIGMA4.LGO and SIGMA8.LGO files from the Windows Device Driver Library volume 1. They contain the boot screen of Windows 1.0 to be used with the associated display drivers for the Sigma Color 400 display. Although the Device Driver Library is from January 1987, it's possible the boot screen logo files for this driver are based on beta files from late October 1985.
