IFG Consulting Pty Ltd (IFG)[edit]

IFG is an accounting firm based in north western Sydney. Origianlly JABrown Business Services which was then changed to The Accounting Network with the addition of a new associate and in 1999 IFG Consulting was formed. The company focuses on Outsourcing services for CFO and management accounting as well as development, implementation and training for ERP software and Accounting software. With offices in the Hills District and Sydney City region although the firm operates Australia wide.

A 1992 graduate of University of Technology, Sydney Bachelor of Accounting, James gained CPA qualifications and began JABrown Business Services which was then changed to The Accounting Network in 1996 with the addition of a new associate and in 1999 IFG Consulting was formed. Starting slow in a cramped office in Rydalmere IFG picked up only a few healthy clients which was enough to survive thus after 4 years moved to Oatlands. Expansion grew on the CFO Outsourcing services with several new clients in 1996 with James expertise now expanding to the computerised account world. It was not long before James was providing complex Excel spreadsheets. In 1999 IFG made its final move ,through a property purchase, to the Hills area of Northwestern Sydney. Soon after James picked up his most notable businessman, Allan Moss. In the mid 2000's James had completed an extensive forcasting module for accounting software and has also become qualified as an MYOB certified partner. In early 2013 James decides to expand the business with the hiring of the companies first sales manager. 2013 also sees the expansion into ERP and Business Solution Management Software Later 2013 expects to see the release of the updated forcasting program and the first App.

Services and Products[edit]

IFG's main source of revenue is from the CFO outsourcing services and the management accounting services. These services are provided at an hourly rate either onsite of offsite.

The products offered by IFG are the MYOB accounting packages, Xero accounting Packages, Accredo Business Management Software and the IFG Forcasting spreadsheet.

Unlike Xero and MYOB, Accredo is a fully customised set of mudular programs designed for each individual company or client.

The release of the new forcasting app is due late 2013.
