User:A smart kitten/random pages/WPUS HLA-importance fixes

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I recently came across some edits from a 2015 AWB run intended to convert {{WikiProject Latinos}} to {{WikiProject United States}}. This was done by adding the HLA=yes parameter to the latter template; however, it seems as though AWB didn't know to convert any pre-existing importance= parameters to HLA-importance= (example diffs: [1], [2], [3]). Therefore, after this bot run, WikiProject United States inherited the importance ratings that should presumably have been inherited by the Hispanic and Latino Americans task force.

I'm now planning to go through the articles in Category:Unknown-importance Hispanic and Latino American articles, in order to rectify the HLA-importance ratings where this has happened (provided another human hasn't re-rated an article's HLA-importance since 2015) – as in, change importance= to HLA-importance=, as I believe the AWB run should have done. So, if you got here by clicking the link from one of my edit summaries, this is the explanation behind it .
