Cassandra Rojas (born january 15th, 1995, age 28) is a Fashion Designer. She is known for her clothing brand CasasRojas, where she creates clothes that have no age target. She also is very focused on diversity, integrity, and empowerment.

LIFE and EDUCATION
[edit]Cassandra Rojas was born in Monterey Mexico. However, she moved to the United States when she was a child. When she was growing up, she didnt exactly dream of becoming a fashion designer. At first, she wanted to become a doctor. Infact, she was very goal driven with that dream in mind. She had contained a perfect GPA all through out high school. She participated in a lot of leadership roles in high school and participated in cheer and dance.
-After high school, she went to Kent state university and that is where she received her degree.
-She was told by a teahcer that she had joined too late to become a fashion designer.
CAREER
[edit]Ms.Rojas joined Tasc and started her brand. She primarily focuses on her ability to create and go beyond things she doesn’t know. She is a Senior Associate Designer at Tasc performance. Her brand operates alongside tasc. It features a variety range of clothes. Specifically like, jumpsuits, formal blouses and athletic wear. All designed to help women feel empowered. All of this was strongly empowered and driven by her idea and mindset of believing that you can do anything and everything if you put your mind through it. She’s continued to power through obstacles that get in her way and has accomplished many great things. All will be listed below. She is also driven through her passion in art. In college, she considered fashion forecasting or fashion journalism, fashion design not being in her mind at all. However, with hard work and consideration, she did what she put her mind through.
She first started with only around 2 designers and launched roughly around 100 pieces. Cassandra is also very family oriented and had her mother help her with her business. She stated in a YouTube video, “My mom made all my pieces”. When the business continued to grow, they moved everything to Mexico.
TASC PERFORMANCE
[edit]- Tasc performance is a family run business that focuses on sports wear. The Andrew family is influenced from their great love for sports. Their family goal is to create the best activewear in the world. It’s also important to know that they provide 18% higher wages than the local average. Their employees also have access to free healthcare for themselves and their families. They also focus on housing and food.
-They create their own materials and created their own process and technical fabrics.

2018: Fusion IFFTI Student Design Competition- Shanghai, China (1 of 45 world finalists)
2018: Alchemy, Kent State university Annual Fashion School Fashion show - Ohio, United States (“ Niche Award- Most innovated Collection”. Of 27 senior collections).
2019: Won Free to Be Me for America.
2021: Fashion Forward Disruption Through Design Exhibition.

Influences:
[edit]Cassandra draws inspiration from natural resources and from the world around her. She tries to seek out different challenges that test her creativity and work ethic. She also believes fashion is more than just clothes on a runaway. She deeply believes that its a form of speech that can make an difference in the world.
