As an electronics engineer designing microcomputer systems, my favorite was the Signetics 2650.

I first used it in 1977 in a data-logging system for the oil industry, and later in a PLC 20 development system commissioned by Philips This system was later ported to the Apple IIe.

Spent a lot of time designing i/o cards for the Apple II, so we could use this computer for industrial control.

Later I switched to writing software for a variety of applications, both industrial and small business.
