Griffin Anthony Occhigrossi (born September 3, 1983), known professionally as Griffin
Anthony, is an American singer-songwriter from Bedford, NY. As a teen, Anthony was first inspired to pursue a career as a musician after working backstage at the Newport Jazz Festival.[1]
Career
[edit]Since signing with Broadcast Music, Inc. and The Orange Music Company Publishing in 2008, Anthony has performed at music festivals such as Wanee Music Festival,[2][3] SunFest,[4][5] and CMJ. In 2013, Anthony's composition for the HBO documentary "SPCA Gala" was a New York Festivals finalist for best original music.[6] He was the recipient of the 2014 Nova Southeastern University Distinguished Alumni Award[7] and was the principal score composer for the Woodstock Film Festival selected HBO documentary Catskill Park.[8] On October 12, 2018, Anthony released his third full-length album titled Refuge via Big Eyes Records.[9][10][11][12]
