Riccardo Giraudi (born on November 14th 1975 à Genova) is the CEO of Giraudi Group.

Biography[edit]

Riccardo Giraudi is Erminio Giraudi and Francien Giraudi’s son.

He grew up in the Principality of Monaco before studying at the European Business School in London where he got a Bachelor in Business Administration in 1999 [1] · [2].

Carreer[edit]

Beginning[edit]

In 2001, Riccardo Giraudi joined the family-owned company created by his father, Erminio Giraudi, in the 1970’s : Giraudi Group[3]. The group is one of the European leader in meat import / export (40% veal, 30% beef, 10% pork). Supervised by Riccardo Giraudi, the company turned to new businesses such as hospitality & exclusive meats [4].

The meat industry[edit]

While becoming leader in the import of hormone-free American Black Angus beef in Europe in 2005, Riccardo Giraudi introduced a new offer by integrating Australian beef [5]. In 2014, he become the first official importer of certified Japanese Kobe beef in Europe6[6] · [7] · [8] · [9].

Hospitality[edit]

In 2005, Riccardo Giraudi started to develop restaurant concepts in Monaco and abroad [10] · [11]. He now owns 9 restaurants in the Principality of Monaco :

  • Beefbar[12]
  • Song Qi[13]
  • Moshi Moshi[14]
  • La Salière
  • Mozza[15]
  • Grubers[16]
  • Indochine[17]
  • Cantinetta Antinori
  • Naçionalista

Some of his concepts, like Beefbar, Grubers and Beeftro, are being developed in Europe, Asia, South America and in the Middle East [18].

Riccardo Giraudi got his first Michelin star thanks to Beefbar in Hong Kong en 2017[19] · [20].

In 2017, he became the new owner of the restaurant Anahi, in Paris[21] · [22].

Other activities[edit]

Since 2007, Riccardo Giraudi is appointed Honorary Consul of Gabon in the Principality of Monaco[23].

Professional[edit]

Riccardo Giraudi has been awarded « Restaurateur of the year » in 2012 during the « Cérémonie de la nuit de l’hôtellerie »[24], Managers of the year in 2013 by the “Club de l’éco” of Monaco Matin[25].

Private[edit]

En 2010, Riccardo Giraudi a reçu la médaille d’Officier de l’Étoile équatoriale de la République gabonaise et est devenu Chevalier de l’ordre de l’Étoile d’Italie en 2014.
