Alex Newe Alexandra Newe is an American filmmaker, director, singer, and producer. Born in Abington Massachusetts, Newe moved to California at an early age. She kickstarted her two bands, AXP, and her solo work under the name Alex Newe in 2019. She has directed and produced several independent shorts as well as music videos. Her most recent work directing and editing the feature-length documentary "The Unveiled Truth" is projected to premiere at a number of film festivals worldwide.

Career

A graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara, Alex also got her Masters's in Film and Media Communications from the University of Kent in the United Kingdom.

She kickstarted her career in the states as a freelance sound designer. After moving to the UK, she picked up the position as Head of Film at Kent Television and has since been promoted to Station Manager.
