Series twelve of The Apprentice is an upcoming series of a British reality television series, due to begin broadcasting in the UK on 6 October 2016^[1]. It is due to air on Thursday as opposed to Wednesday, as it had previously been aired, due to the delayed start of The Great British Bake Off.^[2]^[3]

The number of candidates remained at 18, with the official Twitter account of the programme posting teaser quotes weeks before the start date. Both Claude Littner and Karren Brady returned as aides to Lord Sugar.
