The Kenosha Kingsmen, was a competitive senior drum and bugle corps. It was formed in 1956, initially under the name VFW Ramblers. In July of the same year, the group was reconstituted as a not for profit corporation, and renamed the Kingsmen. The group was sponsored by the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1055, Somers American Legion Post 552, and Junker-Ball VFW Post 1865. The Kingsmen hosted an annual contest, the Concourse of Champions, early in the marching season.
The corps’ colors were red, black, and white.
1962 VFW Nationals, 59.90, 4th place
In 1968, they competed in their first ever Drum_Corps_Associates finals, finishing in last place. The following year, they competed in the American Legion Nationals Final, coming in fifth in the senior corps division. Declining membership led to their demise following the 1969 season.
