Swapan Chakraborty

Poet Swapan Chakraborty, always loves to be immersed in the love of literature and poetry. He has a watchful eye on the current times. Politics and social awareness shines through his poetry.

Even in his long time abroad, he cherishes his home country and his culture with deep compassion. In his poetry, patriotism, humanity, human love, nature, various tensions of society and immense memories come up.

Poetry practice is his favorite pursuit. He has been writing poetry for a long time. Loves to talk about life in poetry. Writing stories and research articles. His interest and practice in all branches of literature.

He obtained double master's degree in Sociology and Bengali Language and Literature from Chittagong University and subsequently a Bachelor's degree in Law. He has been engaged in the legal profession for a long time and has also taught in law colleges. He was involved in the anti-dictatorship movement as a cultural activist.

Has been living permanently in New York, North America since 1995.

In 2002, he received a third master's degree in public administration from Baruch College of the City University of New York.

Currently employed in a senior management position in a New York State government agency.
