Hello,

Thanks for arriving on my page. My name is Ashish and I'm from India.

I'm a content writer by profession, so I guess it was just a matter of time before I fell in love with WikiPedia editing. My tryst with this exercise came after 13 long years of my writing career when I found my city's Wiki pages in miserable conditions, presenting hardly any useful information (and in some cases even outdated or misleading information). The amount of work I had to do to make those pages useful for people required 2 months of writing and editing, and made me gradually fall in love with WikiPedia.

Since then I've made substantial edits to many other pages that are not strictly related to my city, and I plan to continue doing so in my free time. I owe a lot of what I've learned and what I know to WikiPedia, so now I'm trying to return the favor by improving it for everyone in my spare time.
