From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hello! I am a student at Drake University studying Advertising, Sociology, and Leadership. Through my Global Youth Studies class, I will be learning the in and outs of Wikipedia.

A topics I am interested in expanding upon in Wikipedia includes:

• Expanding upon the section in Child labour in different parts of the glob. Currently the article is heavily focused on European countries, and Switzerland with no mention of the global south such as Latin America. Therefor, I will be creating a section that is focused on child labor in Latin America, the history, and the current status of this issue.

Sources I am interested in utilizing include:

[1] Child Labour: Determinants, Dimensions and Policies in India

[2] Child Labour's Global Past, 1650-2000

[3] Children's Labor Market Involvement, Household Work, and Welfare: A Brazilian Case Study

[4] Child Labor: Cause, Consequence, and Cure, with Remarks on International Labor Standards

[5] Hazardous Child Labour in Latin America

[6] Child Labor and Education in Latin America: An Economic Perspective

[7] Child Labour in Latin America: Policy and Evidence
