Asit Vyas is a producer and entrepreneur. Born in India, he is the founder of AV Entertainment in Los Angeles and is currently developing a feature titled, “Thank You, Cancer.” Previously he worked as a producer of a Bollywood/Hollywood co-productions for New Age Productions. Before taking on the entertainment industry, Asit successfully owned and operated 23 Pizza Hut & 10 Burger King franchises.
Early life[edit]
Asit Vyas was born to Panna and Pinakin Vyas in Ahmedabad, India. As a child, he loved playing Table Tennis, Tennis, watching Hindi, and English films in Madhya Pradesh, India. He moved to Los Angeles, California for further study in 1984. He did his BA in TV/Film from San Jose State University before producing his first film in Hollywood.
