PredatorsWatch.com (formerly PotentialPredators.com[1] and TheOnline-Watch.com) is a scam website that claims to list sexual predators. In reality it is a blackmail scam.
Method
[edit]When Craigslist members answer a sex ad, they receive an email informing them that they have been added to a list of sexual predators and that they may be removed from the list for a one time payment of $99.95.[2]
Publicity
[edit]People have been incited to take action based on false information on the site.[3]
Ownership
[edit]The site was owned by Gottfrid Swartholm.[4]
