Reichelsheim Airport (ICAO: EDFB) is a general aviation airport located near Reichelsheim, in the district Wetteraukreis, in Hesse, Germany. It is located 26 kilometers northeast of Frankfurt am Main.
The airport has a 1,300-by-23-metre (4,265 ft × 75 ft) asphalt runway and offers PAPI and illumination in both directions. RWY 18 offers REIL. A separate illuminated taxiway is available. Aircraft up to 8,000 kg (17,636 lb) are allowed to land at the airport. The airport is in operation at day and night.
Reichelsheim is also well connected to Frankfurt Airport. It can be reached by car in 40 minutes.
The airport is mainly used for general aviation. The aerodrome also serves as an important heliport for medevac or VIP transports. Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe e.V. is present with 24h/365days medevac helicopters Christoph Hessen and Christoph Rhein-Main.
