Ray Corral is a US-based artist. He is the founder and owner of Mosaicist Inc., a Miami, Florida-based design and manufacturing company that installs mosaic art pieces.[1][2][3][4]
Career
[edit]Corral began his career in 1997 as an artist, designing kitchens, wall murals, and entryways. He has collaborated with builders including Brian Van Bower and Ryan Hughes.[5][6]
Ray Corral created the Corral & Cathers Artist Fund, which supports regional artists with grants to further their professional development and skills in a various disciplines and mediums.[7]
Mosaicist, Inc
[edit]Corral founded Mosaicist, Inc. in 2000.[8] The firm designs hand-laid mosaic projects, including pool finishes, murals, backsplashes, and showers.[9][10][11] In 2021, Mosaicist designed, manufactured, and installed mosaic art for the Howard Hughes Pool located in Coral Gables Florida.[12] In 2024, Mosaicist completed two wall murals and a mosaic art installation for the roof in the $14M Pool Project at St. Regis.St. Regis.[13]
