Your username
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. This is a message to let you know that your username, "Babar Azam123", may not comply with Wikipedia's username policy. Please note that the following types of usernames are prohibited:
- Promotional usernames: Those that match the name of a company, organization, group, website or product (e.g. "XYZ Company", "MyWidgetsUSA.com", "Foobar Museum of Art"). However, you are allowed to use a username that contains such a name if it identifies you personally (e.g. "Jack Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", "FoobarFan87").
- Usernames implying shared use: Those that directly imply shared access between people (e.g. "Jack and Jill's Account"), or match names of posts within groups or organizations (e.g. "Secretary of the XY Foundation").
- Misleading usernames: Those that contain suffixes like "bot" or "script" and imply an account is that of an automated bot when it is not, or titles like "admin" or "sysop" (implying a position of authority), or match names of living people that you are not, such as famous living people. If you are a famous person editing under your real name and your account is blocked from editing, please note that this is not to discourage you from editing, but rather to prevent any potentially damaging impersonation of you.
- Offensive and disruptive usernames: Those that contain words or phrases that are likely to offend other contributors, directly threaten or attack another person or some entity, contain contentious material about living persons, or otherwise imply you do not intend to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia (e.g. "JohnIsAJerk", "WannabeWikipediaVandal").
For more information, see Wikipedia's username policy.
Please also note that Wikipedia does not allow accounts to be shared by multiple people, and that you may not advocate for or promote any company, group, organization, product, website, person or other entity, nor do we tolerate any other 'bad faith' editing such as trolling, vandalism or other disruptive behavior, regardless of your username. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. If you do not understand which part of the policy your username may be violating, please don't hesitate to ask. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing this form, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. Human (talk) 18:26, 6 February 2022 (UTC)
- Hello. Can you please respond to the above message? Your username seems to be impersonating Babar Azam, which is not appropriate in Wikipedia. I open a discussion with other users if you do not respond to the message. And do not add motm unless Cricinfo posts it. Thanks Human (talk) 18:33, 7 February 2022 (UTC)
- Hello. Actually this is my real name. Also any reason behind reverting the edit bro!? Edit was correct. Babar A. Khan 85 (talk) 18:21, 12 February 2022 (UTC)
- In that case you need to provide proof that it is your actual name, for example an email address. I reverted your edit because I was updating score at the same time and there was an editing conflict. Human (talk) 18:52, 7 February 2022 (UTC)
I am very new here and have learnt few things. I came across your above message few minutes earlier. I am figuring out on how to change my username and once i do i would change it. Cheers Babar A. Khan 85 (talk) 18:21, 12 February 2022 (UTC)
Text colours
[edit]We can't use red text on a blue background on 2022 Pakistan Super League squads, because it's too difficult for people to see, especially if they have limited vision. The relevant guidance is MOS:CONTRAST. If yellow isn't a "correct" text colour for the team, then white text would be the best, as it's the easiest to see colour for a dark blue background. Joseph2302 (talk) 13:34, 10 February 2022 (UTC)
- Joseph2302 hi, yellow color is part of Islamabad United's kit since the team was formed. I think yellow is easy to see for everyone. So we should change to yellow from white what you say? For Lahore Qalandars, they have green and black as their home kit colors and also easy to see. Thanks. Babar A. Khan 85 (talk) 13:48, 10 February 2022 (UTC)
- They're not compliant with the guideline, read the guideline rather than continuously incorrectly reverting. Joseph2302 (talk) 15:05, 10 February 2022 (UTC)
- My dear brother, I have stopped reverting once I saw this message. I just corrected lahore's colors as they were totally different from their kit colors. Chill bro :). Babar A. Khan 85 (talk) 17:04, 10 February 2022 (UTC)

Edits
[edit]Why have you reverted the edits at the points table? You were the one who gave incorrect nrr and didn't update the points. And when I corrected them you go on a rant. Either edit properly or don't revert correct edits. Human (talk) 22:33, 11 February 2022 (UTC)
- A Simple Human Brother chill out, I didn't saw the source before reverting. As soon as I saw that it was my mistake I reverted back to your correct one. Don't get angry bro. It was my mistake and I already said sorry in summary space. Have a nice day. :) Babar A. Khan 85 (talk) 06:42, 12 February 2022 (UTC)
