A musical Interpretation on the paradigm shift in national culture for modern youth
Music is an epitome of GOD and the way to pay homage to the cultures He has bestowed upon human civilization. We had been cherishing our life and music because it is power, which could invoke the spirit of our freedom. The autonomous youth cultures that have characterized the cultural development of modern capitalist societies, especially since 1950s, represent collective forms of organizing and coping with a historically new youth situation. The separation of youth as a specific social category, brought about by the general extension of education in population's purchasing power enabled industry. The advertising business and the media to illuminate and to cultivate youth as a new consumer group with its own needs and preferences, be it materialistic or be it music.
Through this labeling process young people themselves became marginalized from the adult world and from the social relations of working life. On the one hand, they made the establishment of a social identity a fundamentally problematic process: the youth lost useful traditions, norms, and role models, and were largely left to themselves and each of them in trying to develop adequate forms of social identity. On the other hand, this new 'splendid' isolation also helped construct a 'free space' of hitherto unseen dimensions. The passage of time has deviated the youth from our main stream I admit that modern outlook cannot be concealed within one or two thoughts, but the notion we applied so far is really embarrassing. Where our music is no longer a creation of creative art rather we should say it is an amalgamation of use and throw, it is a kind of fast food. Being an Indian I feel excruciating pain, my eyes dazzling. Mere thought does not materialize your dream in to the facts, so thinker must be a doer also. In regards certain factors, which may enrich us to the pinnacle of Indians. 1. Be true to yourself, stick to our origin and cultural heritage, from where it has been derived. 2. Arouse patriotic feelings, like soldiers, each and every Indian civilian contributing something for the nation, which has its own importance. We suffer from stumbling mental block because of or patriotic feelings. We are great patriot amid the world the moment we watch a cricket match and start thinking of Pakistan's intervention into Kashmir. The same spirit can boost up in every segment of the society through Indian musical contents. A music, which is the spontaneous overflow of human emotions. It's an ambassador of Love, unity, Respect, creation and culture. But the tragic of Indian music is that a catalyst replaces creativity. Introduce fast food music is nothing but re-hashing the original flavors and relish the remix. We are all living in a microwave era. Under the backdrop of the present scenario, we may not cherish our cultural heritage and with the passage of time our culture and we will be extinct. The situation needs immediate resurrection and it’s high time we do something concrete and creative.
