A Socio-Cultural thought

[edit]

At the outset of writing , I would like to clarify that my intention is not to hurt anyone rather to make feel and realise the content.

When we are in the realm of ultra modern society, it is being found that the social infrastructure deteriorates from its main stream. We can see metropolitan with a cosmopolitan way of life where personal feelings and emotions holds no water. However generation is well-versed, technically and diplomatically well equipped. Money, education and social elevation replaced traditional thoughts and ideas. It is admitted that it’s been their tireless dream, desire enriched them to the top of their pyramid. A few questions keep haunting me and cross and re-cross each other. 1. Being an Indian, when most of us in India cannot overcome the poverty line, what should be our duties and responsibilities? 2. When Indian economy cannot provide basic needs to the grass root level. Does it good to humiliate the rustics, on saying ' you are not up to the mark'. 3.It is also hidden fact, when minimum means of comforts are not available to all, how come our leaders feel happy, proud and healthy? 4. Needless to use the plethora of words for the greater interest of down trodden people- Are we doing anything good and great unless the contribution attains media attention.

In fact, we have become educated and sheet anchor of the society. We often feel proud and happy about being an Indian, right from the independence we have learned to treat each other in terms of commodity value, as a consequence our way of looking life have brought a nightmare in the form different extremist group.

A group of people has become independent in connection with wealth, education and status, they love to sell pain to others and make a profit out of that and become rich, real culprit are those who were bestowed with a few basic jobs for the downtrodden people which they forgot and allowed rustics deprived- what they might have been.

As Vivekananda said, that education is the manifestation of perfection that already in a man and that can be possible when we keep open our eyes and mind. We have to assimilate to western, would spread our mythology in return we would learn science and technology. It is unquestionably right that we have exchanged our wisdom. However it would also not be an exaggeration that our state of mind is being filled with sex and violence as a consequence we have been deviated as well as alienated from our main stream.
