Biography [edit]
Abe Fogle has been touring with various artists for more than 35 years.
His heart-felt backbeat and "shake-your-body" groove have been heard and danced to all over the world with Rob Thomas, Beth Hart, Hot Tuna, Alex Bugnon, Kelis, D'Angelo, Kool and the Gang, LeVert, and GUY, to name a few.
Abe's versatility has allowed him to cross genres from Pop, Alternative Rock, Afrobeats to R&B and Jazz. "I just like playing the pocket," says Fogle, which explains the demand for his solid, reliable groove.
His 35 year career afforded him the opportunity to work with such jazz artists as Phillippe Saisse, Kenny Garrett, Milt Hinton, George Coleman, and Jon Hendrick and record with other greats, like Sandra St. Victor, Adam Holzman's Brave New World, Garfield Mayor, India Aire, Nine Days, Chico Debarge, Yoshiko Kishino, Chico Freeman, the Ensoniq sample library, and more. [1]
The success of Fogle's 2005 | 2006 tour with Rob Thomas led to his current position as Thomas' drummer.
