Goals for 2016 on the board of Cascadia Wikimedians User Group[edit]

Continued expansion of the group and its ability to connect new Wikimedians and institutions to a high-quality, enduring, diverse and regionally significant body of knowledge embodied in Wikimedia projects.

Specific initiatives I'm interested in include:

  • Continued and more effective outreach to Native Americans and their institutions
  • Content about uniquely Cascadian approaches to urbanization and its challenges
  • Content about the Cascadian experience including its natural and anthropological environment including music, art and language
  • Leveraging software engineering/management skill sets of Cascadian talent to improve Wikimedia projects, especially regarding contributor integrity (stretch)

If interested in knowing more about any of these topics, drop me a note.
