Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort is a resort hotel and spa located at Universal Orlando Resort in Florida. Added as part of a resort expansion of Universal Orlando Resort in between 2010 and 2017, it was built along with The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Skull Island, Loews Sapphire Falls Resort and Volcano Bay. The resort is referred to as Universal Orlando’s value priced hotel. It was designed to a retro theme. Loews Hotels is the owner and operator of this resort.

History[edit]
The hotel was first announced in July 2012. The new hotel opened Phase 1 on March 31, 2014. Cabana Bay Beach Resort features a "hip, vintage look" and offers rooms for guests, made up of 900 suite style rooms that sleep 6 and 900 traditional style rooms that sleep 4. The hotel is built on a 37-acre site within Universal Orlando and adjacent to Universal's Islands of Adventure – just off Hollywood Way and Turkey Lake Road. The entire hotel opened on June 20th.
In October 2014, a hot water pipe burst in the hotel, injuring several guests and causing an evacuation. [1]

A variety of dining locations such as Bayliner Diner, Galaxy Bowl Restaurant, Atomic Tonic, The Hideaway Bar and Grill, Swizzle Lounge, Starbucks and Delizioso Pizza.
