St. Vicent Ferrer Hermitage (Onda)

The Saint Vicent Ferrer hermitage in Onda (Province of Castellon, Spain) is build in a place where, accorging to the tradition, st. Vicent Ferrer predict in his visit to Onda in 1412, after his intervention at the Compromise of Caspe.

It's a central floor plan hermitage with a semicircle dome with natural ilumination superior. It's decorated with Corinthian order's pilaster.

The altar presents four Corinthian columns, in wich is shown the date of 1792. At the penditives there are fresco's drawings with Saints of Dominican Order. It also has paintings at the two side walls.

En la fachada exterior se puede ver un panel devocional de cerámica representando al Santo titular (siglo XIX).

La cubierta es de teja cerámica vidriada de color azul, con los límites de su base octogonal en cerámica blanca. El resto de la cubierta es de teja cerámica y el remate de hierro forjado.
