Categorically Insane is a colloquial phrase or nickname for the Gender, Sexuality, Feminist Studies at Middlebury College. This name is in reference to courses such as Feminist Blogging, The Qu'ran and the Feminist Subject, White People, Queering Food: Race, Place, and Social Justice, and Feminist Epistemologies. Of course, this name refers to the entire department, and therefore these courses are not the extent of the "asinine"^[2] education students will receive. Hopefully, in the future, the department's insanity will receive the level of recognition it deserves.
