Here's a little report I wrote:

The 9/11 attacks were a series of coordinated suicide attacks by al-Qaeda upon the United States of America. On that morning, terrorists affiliated with al-Qaeda hijacked four commercial passenger jet airliners. The hijackers intentionally crashed two of the airliners into the World Trade Center in New York City, resulting in the collapse of both buildings soon afterward. They also crashed a third plane into The Pentagon. The fourth airliner crashed into Shanksville, Pennsylvania after the passengers attempted to retake control of the plane. Many Americans were very scared after this event, and also scared of similar events that had happened in the past.
