    Alliances were one of the main causes of World War One. The reason they were one of the main causes of World War One is because they were secret. It made people wonder about them and become suspicious. Another reason is because they made big alliances and the other countries became worried that they would destroy everyone. Alliances were one of the main causes of the war.
   There were many alliances during the time of World War One. The two main alliances were between the central powers and allied powers. The allied powers  were the countries that opposed the central powers. The central powers were made up of mainly Austria-Hungary, Germany, Bulgaria and the Ottoman Empire. The allies powers were made up of mainly Serbia, Russia, France, the United Kingdom, Italy, Belgium and the United States.
