Landon Cassill 2017 NASCAR Media Tour

Landon Cassill[edit]

Landon Douglas Cassill was born on July 7, 1989. He is currently competing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for JD Motorsports, driving the No. 4 Chevrolet Camaro. I first discovered Landon back in 2019, when he started driving for StarCom. He is awesome and makes the most out of his equipment, and he even gave SRV (Shepherd Racing Venues) their first top 15 in YEARS! Sadly, StarCom kicked him out (not literally) in 2020 and replaced him with Quin Houff.

Quin Houff Richmond 2018

Quin Houff[edit]

Quin W. Houff was born on September 15, 1997. He is currently competing in the NASCAR Cup Series for StarCom Racing, driving the No. 00 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE. Quin really isn't that well known, and the most famous thing that he's ever done is that he wrecked MattyD & Christopher Bell, which caused quite a bit of backlash from drivers and fans alike. (He tried to come to pit road a little too late and ended up running into Matt & Chris.) So far this year, he has finished in the top-25 twice. He finished 25 in the Bristol Dirt race and 24 at Martinsville. At the GEICO 500, he was running in the top 20 in the first and second stages, but contact during a green-flag pit stop in stage 3, as well as a penalty for too many men over the wall, knocked over his lucky horse shoe and he eventually ended up blowing a tire and hitting the wall.

Michael McDowell 2017 NASCAR Media Tour

Michael McDowell[edit]

Michael Christopher McDowell was born on December 21, 1984. He is currently competing in the NASCAR Cup Series for Front Row Motorsports, driving the No. 34 Ford Mustang. Micheal is most well-known for winning the 2021 Daytona 500 after a wild crash took out Joey Logano and Brad Keselowski. Michael managed to avoid the crash and won the race, therefore scoring his first victory in the NASCAR Cup Series!

Carl Edwards[edit]

Carl Michael Edwards II was born on August 15, 1979. He last competed in the NASCAR Cup Series for Joe Gibbs Racing, driving the No. 19 Toyota Camry. Edwards is most famous for doing a backflip off his car to celebrate a victory, which originated from a time when he did a backflip in order to save himself from falling off of his car. Before he drove for Joe Gibbs, he drove the No. 99 Ford Fusion for Roush Fenway Racing.

Ryan newman (44846515832)

Ryan Newman[edit]

Ryan Joseph Newman was born on December 8, 1977. He is currently competing in the NASCAR Cup Series for Roush Fenway Racing, driving the No. 6 Ford Mustang. His nickname is "Rocket Man" and he is said to be as "hard to pass (on the track) as a kidney stone." Last year, at the 2020 Daytona 500, Newman was leading on the last lap when Ryan Blaney tried to push Newman to the win in an attempt to get a Ford to victory lane. Unfortunately, the move backfired and Newman ended up flipping over several times in what is now known as one of the scariest crashes in NASCAR history. Safety officials had to literally cut Newman out of his almost unrecognizable car, after which he was immediately rushed to the hospital. Luckily, his injuries were not life-threatening, although he did have a concussion. Ross Chastian filled in for Newman while he was recovering.

Ryan blaney (32403342951)

Ryan Blaney[edit]

Ryan Michael Blaney was born on December 31, 1993. He is currently competing in the NASCAR Cup Series for Team Penske, driving the No. 12 Ford Mustang GT. Blaney is best known for driving the No. 21 for Wood Brothers Racing to victory lane in 2017 at the "2017 Axalta presents the Pocono 400," which was held at Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, Pennsylvania. This was Blaney's first win and the Wood Brother's 99th. It was also the first win for the Wood Brothers since Trevor Bayne's surprise Daytona 500 win in 2011.
