BeInspired Fitness is a social network platform providing Personal Trainers, Fitness Instructors (Yoga, Dance, and Pilates), Physiotherapists, Nutritionists and Fitness Enthusiasts with the tools to reach their goals and objectives within the Fitness Arena.[1]
Founded in February 2013 with headquarters in London, United Kingdom, the company is privately owned and operated by Be Inspired Fitness Ltd.[2] Its mission is to inspire and support others, to develop and improve fitness through an active a healthy lifestyle.
BeInspired Fitness Members can access services through the website allowing them to create personal profiles, interact with and follow other members, and find professionals and training sessions in their local area to help each member meet their personal fitness goals.[3]
Verified Fitness Professionals can create a profile which will feature their professional qualifications and specialist areas, display a calendar of upcoming sessions and events that members can join, provide tools to manage their client base and have the ability to search for new clients.[4]
An integrated e-commerce system allows members to make payments through a secure checkout process and Professional are able to track payments made by members on an individual or accumulative basis.[3]

The founders, Niall and Brian Smith, were working together in San Diego, California through 2011 / 2012, their interest in Sports & Fitness developed as a result of becoming involved in a range of sports activities associated with the lifestyle California had to offer.
After completing project work in California they returned to the UK in January 2013 and created the concept for BeInspired Fitness, their initial ideas developed into a Scope Document which in turn formed the Business Plan. It was then vital that a Development Team be found who could turn their concept into a secure and functional e-commerce social network platform for the Fitness Industry.
Their search for a Development Team took them to Norfolk, UK, they found a young team who had the same goals / interests from a fitness perspective and formed a partnership with Selesti, an award winning Digital Agency based in Norwich, UK.[3]
To support the development of the site, Brian took a career break from his normal business activities and worked on the formation of a more detailed / informative Business Plan.

BeInspired Fitness offers the fitness industry a service which allows Fitness Professional such as Personal Trainers / Physiotherapists and Nutritionists the opportunity and functionality to manage their client base, and to provide them with the ability to search for new clients. It was important that the BeInspired Fitness website had a social aspect, and that Professionals had the ability to share their fitness experience with each other, and to build their business through a secure e-commerce platform.
The BeInspired Fitness platform offers a model which connects Professionals and Members who have an interest in the Fitness Industry, it enables transactions to take place between both parties without the need to employ Professionals in a direct capacity.

BeInspired Fitness has registered the mark BeInspired Fitness.com with the UK Intellectual Property Office UK00003001907 ( Publication date 2nd August 2013 ).[5]
