Hello fellow Wikipedian! I'm from Austria and editing in Wikipedia since around 2006, although I have been editing earlier with other usernames too.

I have created a few articles in the english and the german language Wikipedia and have around 600 article edits on the english Wikipedia. I'm always learning new things here, may it be about programming for MediaWiki software, the creation of good articles, formatting in MediaWiki markup or just the (not so everyday) knowledge you get from reading yet another Wikipedia article.

I'm also the creator of some Wikipedia extensions. These are:

• WikiTimeLine - An interactive timeline for historic events. Simply add events to an article (with tags). If you click on these events in the article, you will add it to an interactive timeline to which you can additionally add any event you wish and you can move around in history, zoom in and out. Try it out here.
• EAN - An extension for displaying barcodes by simply entering their number
• ExtIdx - Extended Index. An extended page-index which can be unfolded to show linked mediawiki subpages in just one page-index.
• FileCheck - An extension for the MediaWiki versions 1.11 and 1.12 which automatically detects duplicate files. Since MediaWiki version 1.13 this functionality is included into the MediaWiki core and there is no more need for this extension.
