Colin was born in 1957 in Westham, London and moved to Southend on Sea in 1962. He started his musical career playing drum at High school at the age of 13. First paid performance playing drums was with local musicians in clubs and pubs. Musical influences were the Beatles, Deep Purple, James Taylor and the biggest; Frank Zappa. Drumming influences were Ringo Star, John Bonham and Ian Paice.

Genres played through the years included 60's and 70's pop, Rock 'n' Roll, Jazz, Scar, Funk and so on.

As time went on, Colin picked up the guitar, 5 String banjo and ukulele and started writing music in the 70's. It wasn't until retiring from playing drums in approximately 2010 this he invested in an Apple computer and Logic Pro X, that he was able to think seriously about writing and recording. Internet in hand, Colin set forth to learn how to use Logic and how to record and produce his own material.

Colin married Maggie Gordon in 1978 and had two children, Layla and Robin.
