Suzette R. Hinton (born December 27, 1959) is an American author, life coach, artist, and entrepreneur. She is the founder of Odyssey Administrative Services LLC, Odyssey Music Consultants and Purposeful Connections. Under her direction, these businesses provide bookkeeping services, music consultation and life coaching services, respectively.
Suzette is a member and contributor to BlackLifeCoaches.net and Noomii.com. A life coach and author, she references her journey as an ACOA (Adult Child of An Alcoholic) and the many life lessons her ill-guided choices taught her along the way. Her content also appears in Hubpages, the Yahoo Contributor Network, Naija.com (the Internet Newspaper for Young Nigerians), EmergeNC Magazine, Dating After Divorce, and her own blog, 50TimesAWriter.
Every first Sunday, she co-hosts BlogTalkRadio’s Straight Wives Radio Show. Out of her collaboration with Bonnie Kaye, the show’s host, came the opportunity to host her own show, Ordinary Is the New Extraordinary. The show ran from June 3, 2013 to December 22, 2013 and featured ordinary people who are doing extraordinary things with their lives.
Her column, “The Inspirational Corner,” is a regular for VMH Magazine (previously F.I.N.E. Success Magazine). On August 10, 2013, at the magazine's first year gala, Suzette received the “Excellence in Inspirational Writing” Award and was featured with other hometown honorees in the Kinston Free Press newspaper.
In April 2013, she completed her Freshman writing project, her new book, The Sound of My Life. In it, she shares candidly about losing the sound of her authentic voice. On May 31, 2014, she released two more books: The Sound of My Soul and Protecting Your Emotional G-Spot.
