From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Bern Barcelona EEG database is a public domain database of intracranial electroencephalographic recordings (EEG) from patients with epilepsy. It was pbulished by the researchers R.G. Andrzejak, C. Rummel, and K. Schindler in October 2012 along with their scientific article Nonrandomness, nonlinear dependence, and nonstationarity of electroencephalographic recordings from epilepsy patients[1]. In this article the authors applied nonlinear signal analysis techniques to these EEG recordings. Detailed results as well as computer source codes used to derive these results are also included in the database. The database is hosted at the pages of the nonlinear signal analysis group at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
