Margaret Holford (Wrench)
A British novelist, playwright, and poet of the late 18th century. Born Margaret Wrench in Chester in 1757, she later married Allen Holford of Davenham.[1] Margaret died in her hometown in November 1834. [2]
Her daughter, Margaret Holford of Chester (1778-1852), was also an accomplished author. She married Septimus Hodson (1768-1833), chaplain to the Prince of Wales, in 1862.[3]
