HELIOS is an American independent science fiction audio drama created by Rogue Moon Productions, written by Steve Warnek and Robert E. Wood in collaboration with script editor Christopher Penfold.

Volume One was directed by Glenn Campbell with narration provided by actor Nick Tate. The first series (of seven episodes) was released on Big Finish Productions in December 2024.


PREMISE

The story focuses on a lone woman surviving in the American southwest in the months following World War III. Whilst dealing with worry over her missing daughter, she finds solace in her dialogue with a self-styled radio deejay who is surviving alone at sea. The two develop an intimate friendship, until their respective pasts place their relationship in jeopardy.


CAST

Cindy Dolenc as Jessica Flood, a woman left surviving at her family plot in the New Mexico desert. On the outs with her ex-husband, she retreated there before the war began.

Anthony Montgomery as Jason Anthony "Tony" Myles, an ex-Navy officer living on a boat at sea, waiting for his shipmates to return. His overwhelming loneliness sparks the need to deejay his extensive music collection out to whomever might listen.

Connor Trinneer and Dominic Keating as Jim Golding and Colin Murray. Tony's friends and fellow shipmates who have left to survey the mainland in the aftermath of the war.

Tom McLaren as Tom Flood, Jessica's ex-husband whose nebulous line of work has destroyed their relationship.

Tori Griffith as Emily Flood, Jessica and Tom's daughter who has gone missing.

Nick Tate as Father, the haunting memory of Jessica's dad.
