Departure and death
[edit]In 2023, Graham told Hollyoaks bosses that he wanted to leave the role, and the news of his departure was announced on 17 April 2024.[1] This came months following the news that a third of Hollyoaks's production staff would be axed, including cast members, due to the reduction in Hollyoaks weekly episodes, though it was confirmed that Graham's departure was unrelated.[1] It was reported that Graham had already filmed his final scenes and that Hunter would be killed off in a "tragic new storyline".[1]
