Dave Shemar (born February 9, 1998) is an American singer, songwriter, and rapper.
Born in Laurens, South Carolina, he started his career in 2018. Shemar initially gained notable recognition following the release of his hit debut single, [[Bad Terms", which racked up over 23,000 plays on Soundcloud. The record's success led to a stable fan base as his second single, "No Doubt" garnered over 630,000 plays. Nothing listed for label references as of now, but due to Shemar's presence and his ability to grain his voice smoothly onto a trap/rnbass beat, there's a chance he'll be on a roster soon enough. Shemar sets to release his debut mixtape at the start of 2019, titled Sole:Soul. Sole referring to one of something, and no more than one meaning the one and only, without others, not shared, and solitary. Soul referring to decency and honesty of feeling, emotional, moral and intellectual energy. Get use to the name Dave Shemar folks because he's a star in the making.

I remember seeing his old manager at the time promoting his songs on twitter and I remember him posting and deleting the single "Don't" too. Tiller success is what made me want to write. I felt like he was saying things I've been saying. I started listening to him daily and singing what I heard."
