[edit]Graduate of University of Southampton with a degree in Film Studies (MA), my dissertation thesis titled "Is Ossessione the first film of Italian neorealism?" explored the origin, history and meaning of the film movement Italian neorealism, as such I would consider this topic my area of expertise. I take a particular interest in understanding 20th century history through the evolution of national film cultures. I spent most of my time in academia studying mid-20th century Italian cinema, however this interest extends to the national cinema of Senegal, South Korea, Ireland, the United States, and various others.
I have other interests, however I feel best equipped making edits which pertain to film history.
