Swedish Microwave AB (SMW) was founded 1986 in Motala, Ostergotland Sweden. SMW develops and produces LNBs and LNAs for satellite communication.

History

The company Swedish Microwave AB, a spin-off from Luxor, began manufacturing LNBs.1986

1988 The world’s first LNB manufacturer with HEMT transistor. NF 1.5 dB maximum.
1996 The world’s first dual output Ku-band LNB for simultaneous reception of low-and high Ku-band.
2015 C-Band BDC, C-Band BDC for Tx Monitoring & X-Band BDC. AGC (Automatic Gain Control) Line Amplifier. First fiber Product – Quad Link RF over fiber (single cable). PLL LNB Ku Wideband IF up to 3000 MHz.
