Fatima Syed (born in Karachi on 28 April 1985) is a Pakistani VJ and actress. As a VJ [1], she appeared on the music channel ARY Musik[2]. She has also acted in a play for ARY Digital directed by Wajahat Rauf in a 26 episode comedy serial – in which her role was one of the six main leads, Salma. She has worked with reknowned faces such as Mani, Waqar Zaka, and Natasha Saleem to name a few.


Early and Education


Fatima Syed, grew up in Karachi, Pakistan. She is the sister of famous journalist Wajahat S Khan. She completed her O levels from Convent of Jesus and Mary [3], and went on to United States to complete her final year of high school from Pioneer High School[4], Ann Arbor , Michigan. She then came back and joined Lecole for her A Levels. She is currently pursuing aviation, for which she went to Sydney, Australia and completed her PPL[5] (Private Pilots License). Career and Personal Life

According to her, her entry into the world of glamour just happened by chance, some people asked her to try out nes casting, it just meant extra pocket money at that time. Fatima started her media career with Indus TV. She was amongst the few female english news anchors. Now Fatima works for ARY Musik, currently doing two shows, namely Bollywood Bindaas and All for Love. She has delved into the world of acting and radio frequently, but it is her VJ-aing that she loves best. She loves animals, travelling, exploring, reading and cooking.
