D+S communication center management is a corporation based in Hamburg providing customer management and related services to corporations of different sizes. [1] [2]

History

[edit]

D+S was founded in 1984.[3]

In 2000 it went public. [4]

In 2008 Apax Partners invested in D+S Europe. Moreover they published a voluntary public tender offer for all other shareholders irrespective of the number of shares they held. [5]

In 2009 Apax Partners and D+S Europe announced a squeeze-out for all shares still held by minority shareholders. [6] [4] The public trading officially ended in June 2010.[4]

In 2012 D+S Europe outsourced its IT to Atos.[7]

In 2012 German financial investor CMP Capital Management-Partners GmbH bought the core business of D+S Europe. Apax Partners commissioned Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy to supervise the sales of the call center divison. [8]

In 2018 D+S was taken over by Ströer Media. [9]

Subsidiaries
