Saints is a constituted group currently applying for Charity status
Saints is a Charity set up in the St Athan Community with the goal of improving the areas of play. It's first event was reported to have raised £1500 from the St Athan Family Fun Day and a further £2,000 was donated from the housing association Newydd[1].
Events
[edit]Family Fun Day was held in Summer 2016[2]
Volunteers took part in a training session ahead of the fun day [3]
A second event was held 28th October 2016 as a Halloween party fund-raiser, which increased the Charity’s funds to
In the new year, Saints were successful in gaining a further £1000 from Aviva by which time their total raised funds were over £5000[4].
A second family fun day was held in the summer of 2017 whereby a further £750 was raised and around 500 people attended.[5]
