I am new and am just getting the gist of wikipedia. I was born in Scotland, but of mixed ancestry.
I am almost always mistaken for a foreigner; whether it be that they think i'm Russian or Spanish, I'm not that bothered although passport control is always a hassle and have to wait for ages for my passport to be approved.Thats another thing; I love travelling! I have been to Spain, United States of America and England but really want to travel more! I am planning to go to Italy this year so that will be a wonderful experience, especially with my friend alex sitting next to me on the plane. He is such a laugh. I really want to make a mini movie of The Resistable Rise of Arturo Ui...But with finger puppets! That will be followed by Hamlet with finger puppets, Romeo & Juliet with finger puppets and The Star Spangled Girl with, yes you guessed it, FINGER PUPPETS!!! I love Starbucks Hot Chocolate... to go, without whipped cream.
I am definatly proud to be Scottish and european but I would never call myself british. I don't want to offend anyone but I am fully supporting Scottish independence as are 70% of the Scottish population and never embarrassed to voice my views over that matter. I enjoy Scotland having such strong ties with Ireland aswell. ireland rocks!
I love Drama. Drama is my life. I am an actress, Stage manager, Stage Hand, Chief of Property and Costume Fitter in my spare time. I also do Drama exams. See the Drama section
I love my family and friends, and probably could not live without them. They are my rock(s)!
My cousins are absolutely brilliant and multi- talented; all 29 of them! I love chilling at La Tasca
with my friends. They are Cait (Taxi), James (Jambo), Robin (Mr Phelgmonade), Monica mc (mck), Monica (burns), Jessica,
Els, Cameron and Daniel.
I basically devote my life to drama. I do LAMDA exams, I go to a drama skills workshop, I am a helper at a primary school drama workshop and I do productions. As you will know from the above text, I am also a stage hand, stage manager, Chief of property and costume fitter, but I am also an apprentice Theatre technician. My little world of drama never stops revolving... Seriously...no, really I mean it, it never stops! I also occassionaly star in low budget films and as an extra in short films. In addition I moonlight as a maker of set and props. oh boy the list goes on...
Well all of my theatre work is purely voluntary but I also venture into new grounds of this field. I was a collector of cash in the The Torcher Parade this year and dressed up crazy style, I'm telling you.
I am also an heir to the throne of 21 countries and direct descendent of King Mileius of Spain. I always have a reputation to uphold.
As a result, I bring it upon myself that I must always: Be nice, Not interrupt, Walk gracefully as possible, Try not to hold any grudges, Try very hard not to be a party animal, Have a good personally image, Be intelligent, Pretend that I am not fantastically terrible at maths, Eat the food even if it is disgusting and undercooked (I have the option to be sick later, not at the dinner table), Try to be polite, Acknowledge every single person in the room, Be a well rounded person (still working on that one, Speak eloquently (still working on that one too), Be able to pick up on body language, Be able to judge situations with emotional understanding, Make very good Tarta de queso con chocolate negro y blanco, Have the ability to make a speech suited to any occaisson without insulting the man a the back with the wig., Spell brilliantly (failed miserably at this one), Be able to dance, Be able to sing, Be able to fit as many essential things into the smallest bag I have...in a rush, Be able to walk in high heels without tripping on the steps of the waldorf astoria and breaking my nose in two places, Have dress sense no matter how bad I feel that day and Give the impression that I know exactly who the strange woman with the blonde hair and halitosis is even though I don't have the foggiest who she is at all.
Well I have rewarded awards but none have come my way. I would love if a lovely kind hearted person would reward me a barnstar someday. Yes, that would make my day.
Abso-flippin-lutely brilliant news!! I WON A SCHOLARSHIP TO DRAMA SCHOOL!!!! WOOP WOOP! so so so happy! I really can't wait. I start after the summer and I am not kidding you, the people are amazing! Mr Paige is a really good teacher apparently. If you want to leave me a comment use my talk page. Break a leg to all you thespians out there!
Just back from Italy! Had so so much fun! I stayed in Sorrento and visted Mount Vesuvio, Pompeii and Piano Di Sorrento. Such an amazing experience. I was like a freakin' mermaid; I swam so much and no one, I mean no one, could get me out of the sea. I actually found myself singing on a rock when I think about it. But the most amazing thing was meeting Paolo. I met him on the plane and we chatted forever. He said that he was bad at English, but it was quite the contrary. We spoke about ourselves, Italy, Scotland and History. I will treasure the memories forever. --Duckie for broadway (talk) 13:07, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
"I regard the theatre as the greatest of all art forms, the most immediate way in which a human being can share with another the sense of what it is to be a human being."– Oscar Wilde
