My name is Ekene, and I am an undergraduate architecture student at Rice University in Houston. I have an interest in race and class and the roles they play in literature, film, architecture, and life in general. I am from Nigeria so I also have an interest in immigration, colonialism and its modern day impacts, as well as international perspectives that differ from globally Western norms.

Spring 2023 Proposal Topic Interests
[edit]In Spring 2023, I am contributing to the Prairie Restoration is a climate change related topic fairly discussed on Wikipedia. However, the information is quite brief and there is more to be said concerning its purpose and the role it plays in sustainability and climate change as well as its benefits to the communities near it. This is what I want to expand on in my edit.

Fall 2022 Proposal Topic Interests
[edit]In Fall 2022, I contributed to “Homelessness in the United States". Listed below are the contributions I planned to make whilst working on this article as well as resources in which I drew information from.
Homelessness in the United States is an issue well discussed on Wikipedia. However, there is more to be said concerning rehabilitation efforts as well as the opportunities and barriers in place that allow/hinder people to transition out of homelessness. This is what I want to expand on in my edit.
